Product title not updating

I have chatted, emailed, and called in to have a product title changed and nothing happenes. I keep getting the same scripted response. I am told the title was updated and it can take up to 48 hours to change. It's been over a week and nothing. This is a variant to a parent product. I have updated the parent and a second variant but this one will not change. I don't know what else I can do.
