Hi @Seller_vIifwgpNkxR0p,

Dominic from Amazon here, happy to help!

The cost of return shipping may be your responsibility. For example, if you ship an incorrect or damaged product, you cannot deduct the original shipping or return shipping costs from the refund. You must provide a full refund to the buyer.

For more information, see Issue refunds and concessions for seller-fulfilled orders.

For sellers who have opted into Free Returns, you will also not be able to deduct the return shipping fee for in policy returns. To learn more, go to Free returns for seller-fulfilled orders.

For "buyer-fault" returns such as an accidental order or where there’s a better price available, you can deduct the cost of return shipping from the refund.

For more information, go to Issue refunds and concessions for seller-fulfilled orders.

If a return involves a customer located outside of the country in which you are selling and the return is due to "seller-fault", you will be required to refund up to $25 of the return shipping cost.

For a full list of customer-fault and seller-fault reason codes, see Return reason codes for Prepaid Returns.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Best,

Dominic

I am seeing the same thing. We sell apparel and the original shipping charges are being refunded, as well as free returns. Return reason: Doesn't fit. When the return is not our fault, is it possible to ask for a reversal of the original shipping charge deduction?
