On time Delivery Rating for sellers who ship out LTL (Fright)!

Hello,

We are a store that specializes in homes goods/Furniture which is classified on amazon as large/Bulky Items. We only ship out using freight (LTL) And are FBM( Fulfillment by Merchant). We are running into an issues with the new ORDR (On time Delivery Rate standards as it is very hard to comply to this when shipping out freight/ LTL. The reason it is hard is because we ship out within our fulfillment and shipment windows however we have no control as to when the customer decides to schedule the final mile delivery. Our OTDR is sitting at a 50% with risk of deactivation due to a shipment that was delivered to the customers local shipping terminal on time, however they set up the delivery window for the following week pushing us over the delivery window. Is there anyway we can get exempt from this as we were able to get expect for the VTR because we ship with freight? Our Account still is over 200 and is showing as healthy however the banner at the top that says at risk is concerning. Please help out if anyone else is facing a similar issue shipping out bigger items. Thank you.

Thank you for the information regarding your recent issues and impact to your on-time delivery rate. From the recent Ask Amazon Event our team had regarding OTDR,

"Besides that, you have the flexibility to request an exception to set a manual handling time for your heavy & bulky SKUs even if Automated Handling Time (AHT) is enabled on your account. To request an exception of your handling time, you could contact seller support team and request for them to create a ticket for you to have a handling time exception. "

and,

"All items exempt from VTR are also exempted from the OTDR policy."

We understand that the banner remaining at the top of the account is concerning. This is there mainly to inform you of the metric being off target. We encourage you to monitor your performance notifications as this is where a request would come if there was an potential disruption.

Once the metric returns to normal, the banner should fall off the dashboard. If you observe anything else or have any other questions, we encourage you to refer to this thread for support.

Best,

Atlas
