Customers Unable to Add Product to Cart
When customers click Add to Cart on my listing they are met with an error that says "We're sorry. {Product}, cannot be purchased via the Shopping Cart. Click here to return to the product detail page and follow the instructions' to purchase this item."
I have verified this issue on an incognito browser as well as on mobile logged into an account that is not tied to our seller account at all. I am only attempting to add my own product to cart to test customer stated issues. I would not and have not ever purchased my own product.
In seller central the listing is shown as active and there are units available for purchase. The listing comes up fine when searched and
I have had a seller support ticket open for over a month for this issue and today replied to that ticket to see where things stood. Well that agent told me he would escalate/contact the team it was supposedly assigned to, but then marked the ticket as resolved. Going back through seller support I am bombarded with copy pasted paragraphs about being eligible for the buy box, but this issue happens after I win the featured offer and they are clicking add to cart in the buy box. Also we manufacture this product so there are no other sellers to even be in competition for the buy box with.

What's the ASIN? Without knowing that, no one can see if they duplicate the issue, or even see exactly what is happening.

This is Roberto. Thank you for using the Forums, this is definitely strange and after carefully reviewing the listing, I've found that the ASIN is categorized as a mobile application.
I believe that to be the root cause of this issue, a mobile application is intended to be downloaded, which is why the cart is showing empty when trying to add it. Are you certain that your product is correctly categorized? I couldn't find a similar item that I can compare it against it.
My recommendation is to request the product type to be updated to something more appropriate by using the process outlined below:
Change a product’s category or browse path
If this does not work, please contact our Support team to request the category change. Let me know if you face issues with this, share the case ID here.

@Seller_6Vae9nMtja25m Hello there! Just as I suspected, the incorrect categorization was causing the issue, I have worked with our internal team to further push the changes and the product can now be added to the cart.
Additionally, I encourage you to review your listing and include product description, bullet points, etc. Currently, the detail page is missing all of those details and that could the searchability of your item.
Please double-check on your end.
